seepex Inc to Expand Ohio Plant
Definity Partners Guides Expansion Planning
Definity Partners' client, seepex Inc, of Enon, Ohio, has received approval from its German parent company to complete a nearly seven million dollar plant expansion. The expansion will allow seepex, a worldwide manufacturer of industrial progressive cavity pumps and systems, to increase capacity and add capability as a research and development center of excellence for the global manufacturer. The expansion is expected to more than double the plant's annual revenue and will add at least 39 full time jobs to the Enon facility.
President of seepex U.S. Operations Mike Dillon hired Definity Partners to model future capacity and make recommendations for equipment selection and plant layout that influenced the planning and design of the expansion. Project Manager Rich Cary developed a capacity pipeline analysis tool specifically for the assignment. The tool allowed the company to determine the equipment, floorspace and personnel required to meet the aggressive revenue goals. According to Joe Zinck, Director of Operations for seepex in Enon, the analysis was critical to making the case to company leaders in Bottrop, Germany that the expansion would meet the company's business goals.
"It was my pleasure to partner with seepex in planning for their future growth" said Cary. He noted the growth and capacity model created for this project can continue to be used to make future calculations at seepex assuming a wide variety of scenarios.
"Rich's work is great example of the role Definity Partners is playing in the transformational changes at our client's businesses," said Ray Attiyah, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer. Definity Partners is dedicated to helping leaders set higher standards for growth and performance and giving them the tools they need to achieve those goals.
