Definity Partners Guides Expansion Planning

Definity Partners' client, seepex Inc, of Enon, Ohio, has received approval from its German parent company to complete a nearly seven million dollar plant expansion.  The expansion will allow seepex, a worldwide manufacturer of industrial progressive cavity pumps and systems, to increase capacity and add capability as a research and development center of excellence for the global manufacturer.  The expansion is expected to more than double the plant's annual revenue and will add at least 39 full time jobs to the Enon facility.
 
President of seepex U.S. Operations Mike Dillon hired Definity Partners to model future capacity and make recommendations for equipment selection and plant layout that influenced the planning and design of the expansion.   Project Manager Rich Cary developed a capacity pipeline analysis tool specifically for the assignment.  The tool allowed the company to determine the equipment, floorspace and personnel required to meet the aggressive revenue goals.  According to Joe Zinck, Director of Operations for seepex in Enon, the analysis was critical to making the case  to company leaders in Bottrop, Germany that the expansion would meet the company's business goals.
