This one-day, interactive learning experience delivers a powerful introduction to important lean principals – Waste Identification and Elimination, 5S, Visual Management, Kaizen, Kanban Inventory Systems, Push vs. Pull Systems, and more. Lean Certification ProgramGain in-depth insights and practical knowledge about essential lean principles with Definity University's Lean Certification Program. This practical application begins with one week of dynamic, interactive classroom learning, supplemented with live plant tours that demonstrate course theories in action. Throughout your first week, a plan for a Lean Improvement Project will be developed, through which you will apply classroom learning into a real-life, sustainable, results-oriented project which you will implement at your company over the following 8 -10 weeks. A final week of classroom instruction further examines key principals, evaluation of Lean Improvement Projects, analyzes annual Project savings and ROI, and finalizes a plan approach for sustaining the Project's success and sustaining the implementation of the Lean tools.
